Spring Coronation AS LIX

The next King and Queen of Lochac will be Crowned at the November Coronation AS LIX, at the Village of Tiaro. The Canton of Burnfield welcomes the populace of Lochac, as hosts for this wondrous event. Mistress AElfgifu of Burnfield and Lady Cailleach Dhe inghean Ui Dhubhghaill are your Stewards.
There will be opportunity to show your skills at Arms, with Armoured Combat and Rapier Tournaments held for the Honour of the King/Queen, and thrill the populace of Lochac during the IKAC, testing your skills at Target Archery.
The traditional Kingdom Arts and Sciences Competition will be held at the Coronation, please bring along your creations and documentation.

The Coronation is being held from 10 o’clock Saturday 16th November 2024 till mid afternoon Sunday 17th November 2024. The event is fully catered, from morning tea Saturday to afternoon tea Sunday. The cost is 55 gold coins for members and 65 gold coins for non members. Off board price 20 gold coins members and 30 gold coins non members.
Feast on fresh food from the Gods prepared by the members of Burnfield. If you have a special dietary requirements PLEASE mention this at the time of booking, so we may assist you.
NOTE: DO NOT BRING TREE NUTS TO THE SITE.

There is some accommodation in the Village of Tiaro (only take bookings 6 months out). Maryborough and Hervey bay are a short drive from Tiaro with many options available for your accommodation.
You can fly into Hervey Bay from interstate, at reasonable prices. The train from Brisbane stops at Maryborough. It is a 3 hr drive from Brisbane by car.
Options may be available to transport people from hotels in Maryborough and Hervey Bay to Tiaro for the event if you don’t have your own vehicle and can’t carpool. There will be a cost (to be advised) involved if this service is provided.
There is a Small Market space available if you wish to sell your wares please indicate at the time of booking to reserve your space. It is a small fee of 5 gold. It is recommended that you bring your own shade.

Timetable:
Canton of Burnfield will be setting up on Friday 15th November from 10am.
Event site opens for Populace on Saturday 10 am and Closes at 4pm on Sunday 17th November.
Timetable for Tourneys (Archery, Fencing, Heavy), Peerage meetings and Arts and Sciences competitions to follow closer to the day.
Courts for changeover of Crown to be advised.
